The Brush Off
Lately I have been seeing more and more posts, products and promoting of dry brushing. Have you tried it? Guilty. As soon as I saw one of my favorite recipe bloggers post about the benefits and detail her experience, I was all in. The benefits of dry brushing vary from waking up the senses to changing the feel of your skin. I can say I have noticed both and plan on continuing the practice. Here is a quick run down on how to dry brush.
- Start at your feet and brush upwards towards your heart.
- Move to your arms and start from your hands. Use short strokes upwards ( again towards your heart). This is different than exfoliating and meant to be gentle and enjoyable.
- Give yourself a few minutes before your shower in the morning and see if you feel a change. Let us know what you think. We are here for all of the small additions to our day that give us long lasting results.
