Lately I have been seeing more and more posts, products and promoting of dry brushing. Have you tried it? Guilty. As soon as I saw one of my favorite recipe bloggers post about the benefits and detail her experience, I was all in. The benefits of dry brushing vary from waking up the senses to changing the feel of your skin. I can say I have noticed both and plan on continuing the practice. Here is a quick run down on how to dry brush.

  1. Start at your feet and brush upwards towards your heart.
  2. Move to your arms and start from your hands. Use short strokes upwards ( again towards your heart). This is different than exfoliating and meant to be gentle and enjoyable.
  3. Give yourself a few minutes before your shower in the morning and see if you feel a change. Let us know what you think. We are here for all of the small additions to our day that give us long lasting results.
